Jumping on the Muss Bus: Arkansas lands commitment from Miami transfer guard Chris Lykes
Turns out the Muss Bus is one of the most popular places in the entire college basketball landscape.
That’s been shown once again as one of the top transfer players in all of college basketball has just come off the market as former Miami guard Chris Lykes has announced his commitment to Arkansas. After initially making the decision to turn pro, Lykes has made the decision to close out his college career in Fayetteville.
The former Miami guard has already signed with Arkansas.
Lykes averaged at least 15 points per game for the Hurricanes the last three seasons with 58 starts in 60 games during that time. Lykes only played two games last season as he suffered a season-ending injury after appearing in two games for Miami last season.
“Chris is a proven, dynamic guard who has excelled in the ACC,” Musselman said in a released statement. “He has the ability to score and get his teammates involved. We like how he attacks the paint and gets to the free throw line. He also has show great leadership. We are very excited to have Chris join our program and our fans will enjoy watching him play.”
Lykes joins former Pitt standout Au’ Diese Toney as incoming transfers to the program.

WPS
Man, what a get for the Hogs.
Man!!! Gotta love what the Muss bus is doing on the hill. Can’t wait for Bud Walton to allow full capacity, because that place will be one of the most electric atmospheres in basketball. Rockin like the 90’s WPS!!!
Any chance Arkansas will move all its home games to Bridgestone Arena? I bet three times as many Nashvillians would buy tickets to Arkansas games than Vanderbilt. Muss is incredible, the opposite of Bozo. Vandy fans–you could have had him if you had a real AD. You had a full week before Arkansas’s job came open, and Muss wanted the job and they wouldn’t even talk to his representative, merely acknowledging that he was a fine coach, but they had a superior candidate in mind. Said candidate needs to be deposited in Lake Superior, because the program has sunk to the bottom of the lake in the SEC.
