College basketball fans react to Arkansas upsetting Gonzaga
March Madness resumed Thursday night with No. 4-seed Arkansas taking down No. 1-overall seed Gonzaga in a 74-68 upset.
Arkansas’ unexpected win is the talk of the college basketball world. The bettors favored the Zags by nearly double digits. The CBS Sports studio crew expected Gonzaga to get the win.
Fans and media members took to Twitter after Arkansas’ big win to get to the Elite 8. Predictably, it’s a party on Hog Twitter. Ken Pomeroy’s prediction was called out as people pour one out for the brackets that were busted.
