College GameDay to feature from Bud Walton Arena for Arkansas-Kentucky game

College GameDay will travel to Fayetteville next Saturday to feature the SEC clash between Kentucky and Arkansas at Bud Walton Arena.

ESPN’s traveling pregame show revealed its destination for Jan. 27 on Saturday. It will be the first time the basketball edition of the show has visited Fayetteville. The football iteration of the show came in 2006 for a game against Tennessee.

Arkansas (10-7) hosts South Carolina on Saturday with an opportunity to pick up a signature win and recapture some momentum. The Razorbacks got off to a 9-4 start, but lost each of their first three games of conference play.

They got back on track on Tuesday with a 78-77 win over Texas A&M at home. Tramon Mark played the hero that night, pouring in a career-high 35 points and scoring the game-winner with 1.1 seconds left.

Kentucky, ranked No. 8 in the country, faces Georgia on Saturday and then travels to South Carolina for a midweek contest before facing Arkansas next weekend. The Wildcats have won three of their first four games in conference play and sit at 13-3 on the season.

Antonio Reeves is leading five Kentucky scorers in double-digits so far this season. His 19.4 points per game ranks third in the SEC.

College GameDay will go live from 11-12 p.m. ET. Tipoff between the Razorbacks and Wildcats will be at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN.
