Just when it looked like Arkansas couldn’t possibly receive any additional momentum heading into the 2021 season, the Razorbacks got good news on Monday morning.

If you missed the news over the Christmas break, First-Team All-SEC linebacker Grant Morgan, starting left tackle Myron Cunningham and starting right guard Ty Clary all announced they will return to Arkansas in 2021 despite being seniors during the 2020 season.

This is possible due to the NCAA allowing all players a free season of eligibility this season due to the pandemic. In case you are wondering, returning seniors will not count against the 85-scholarship limit in 2021.

Now, following those announcements, receiver De’Vion Warren announced on Monday morning that he is also planning to return to the team in 2021.

Warren is coming off a season in which he registered career highs in catches (15), receiving yards (278) and receiving touchdowns (3). In fact, those numbers are better than Warren’s career totals heading into the 2020 season.

If you had any doubt regarding the level of buy-in Sam Pittman has in Fayetteville, just keep in mind he didn’t recruit any of these players to Arkansas. Each of these players may not have signed up to play for the Arkansas coach but they all want to play one more season for Pittman.

That says it all when it comes to the support the players have for their head coach.
