Devo Davis has been a key piece for the Arkansas program since he arrived on campus. Now, he’s going to pursue the next level following the 2022-23 season.

Friday evening, Davis announced his intentions to pursue the 2023 NBA Draft. But, in the process, Davis is maintaining his eligibility and keeping open the door for a potential return for the 2023-24 season.

“Since picking up a basketball for the first time, I had two dreams: playing for (the) Razorbacks and playing in the NBA,” Davis wrote.

“I consider myself very fortunate to accomplish the first goal, but now is the time for me to start preparing for my next goal.

“I will begin the process as a member of the 2023 NBA Draft. I will see this process through and make an informed decision in the coming weeks.

“At this time, I will not forgo my eligibility to ensure I have the option to return to U of A for my senior season.”

This past season, Davis averaged 10.9 points per game and was second on the team in steals with 1.4. He also averaged 4.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists while improving his 3-point shooting to 35%.

Across 3 seasons at Arkansas, Davis has appeared in 102 games (62 starts). He delivered 25 points, 8 rebounds and an assist in the upset over Kansas during the NCAA Tournament.
