Devo Davis isn’t done with the Razorbacks.

After testing the NBA Draft waters and getting feedback from teams, Davis announced on Wednesday he is pulling his name out of the draft and returning to Arkansas for the 2023-24 season. He was not on ESPN’s draft rankings and did not get an invite to the NBA Draft Combine in mid-May.

But Arkansas coach Eric Musselman will welcome him back with open arms. With Davis back, he bolsters a group of returners that includes Trevon Brazile, Makhi Mitchell, Jalen Graham, and Joseph Pinion.

Last season, Davis averaged 10.9 points per game and was second on the team in steals with 1.4. He also averaged 4.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists while connecting on 35% of his 3s. Davis has 62 starts in his first 3 seasons with the program and has consistently been a performer in postseason play. He delivered 25 points and 8 rebounds in the Razorbacks’ upset win over Kansas during the NCAA Tournament.

He was also an SEC All-Defensive Team selection last season.

Musselman has hit the transfer portal hard for reinforcements, bringing in commitments from Khalif Battle (Temple), Tramon Mark (Houston), Keyon Menifield (Washington), Jeremiah Davenport (Cincinnati), and El Ellis (Louisville).

But getting Davis back provides some irreplaceable leadership to steer the ship next season.
