Arkansas landed two recruits on Saturday from in-state 4-star offensive lineman Andrew Chamblee, alongside running back James Jointer, as they announced their decisions together to join the Razorbacks program.

Maumelle’s Andrew Chamblee joined Little Rock 3-star running back James Jointer in committing to the Razorbacks on Saturday.

They announced their decision together and it means Arkansas now has six commitments for the Class of 2022. Chamblee is the second offensive lineman to commit to the Hogs. Chamblee had a reported 18 offers, and is ranked the No. 3 offensive lineman in the state, and No. 35 in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite. Chamblee is listed at 6-foot-6 and 292 pounds.

He chose the Razorbacks over finalists Auburn, Florida, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Penn State and Tennessee. Chamblee was impressed with the Hogs during a recent virtual visit. Prior to his announcement he talked to Hogville.net about why he chose the Hogs.

“The reason I chose Arkansas I’ve always felt it was home for me,” Chamblee said, per Fox 16. “I like Coach (Sam) Pittman and Coach (Brad) Davis. I know they are going to push me to my potential up there. You’ve got to make mom happy. They are a good program,” Chamblee said. “Definitely the environment in the program and how they coach up there and everything. I think they are gonna do something really big this year.”
