Eric Musselman was visibly upset following Arkansas’ 90-87 loss to Creighton in the Maui Invitational, both in a post-game radio interview, and in the press conference with the media.

Arkansas had 22 fouls compared with Creighton’s 16, and Arkansas at the foul line was 13-for-17, while Creighton was 21-for-29.

“I’ve coached a lot of games, a lot of years, never seen anything like it,” Musselman said on radio.

“We’ll never face more adversity, I can’t see it,” he said. “Facing more adversity than we faced tonight.”

Musselman only took 2 questions from the media.

“Yeah, it was a good game,” he said. “It was a great game. Great game.”

Musselman was then asked about Creighton shooting 50% from 3-point range.

“We got in a little bit of foul trouble, so our defense, whatever, we lost by 3 points, offensively we’re really good tonight,” he said. “So we scored 53 points in the second half. They’re a really good offensive team. But ended up being a high-scoring game.”
