Eric Musselman was clearly frustrated following Arkansas’ 83-51 loss to Auburn on Saturday afternoon.

The 32-point defeat was the largest home loss Arkansas has endured in the history of Bud Walton Arena. It also moves the Razorbacks to 9-5 on the season and puts them further in-jeopardy of missing the NCAA Tournament for the first time under Musselman.

In his postgame press conference, Musselman was resistant to diagnosing each individual problem the Razorbacks had in this game. Instead, Musselman was much more general in his criticism of Arkansas’ performance.

“When you lose by 30, we could go all the way around the room and each of you could pick a different area and you would all be right,” Musselman said. “We stunk in all areas … Yeah, we stunk. And we’ve got to get a lot better to even survive in this league. We got to get a lot better, we’ve got to be a lot more competitive.

“So, with that, I will say you you all saw how poorly we played and there’s a million things we could discuss, but we stunk in all those areas.”

Here’s video of his remarks:

Arkansas has not missed the NCAA Tournament since the 2018-19 season, which was Mike Anderson’s final year in charge of the program.

The Razorbacks will try to improve to 10-5 against Georgia on Wednesday.
