ESPN was put on blast on social media Saturday after a graphic containing Arkansas was used for its pregame bowl coverage.

The problem is, Arkansas didn’t make a bowl after finishing the regular season at 4-8. The graphic was used to talk about the Camellia Bowl, which features the matchup of NIU and Arkansas State.

There were some comments from fans about Arkansas State’s little brother syndrome and plenty of “you had one job” posts out there after the mistake by ESPN. Things like this don’t happen often, but when they do it’s very funny.

Both the Huskies and Red Wolves came into the matchup at 6-6 with the game being played in Montgomery, Alabama. Arkansas State is led by former Tennessee head coach and Alabama assistant Butch Jones.

Social media remains undefeated to this day, with the fans making sure ESPN heard all about its recent blunder.
