Arkansas QB Feleipe Franks won’t play against the Missouri Tigers, according to the ESPN broadcast crew.

Per the broadcast, Franks has been dealing with a rib injury all week, but hasn’t missed a practice. He was going through pregame warmups and is suited up, but coach Sam Pittman said Franks was unavailable.

That means KJ Jefferson will take over as the starter if the reports are true.

Jefferson has run 9 times this year for 24 yards and a touchdown. He ran 30 times for 58 yards and a score last season. He’s 1-for-2 as a passer for 3 yards this season.

We’ll see if Franks sees any action or if the Hogs hold him out for the entire game due to that rib injury.
