A one-time highly regarded recruiting prospect for Arkansas has announced his transfer destination, and it’s much closer to home.
Collin Clay, a 6-foot-5 and 285-pound defensive end, played in 11 games for the Razorbacks in 2019, and made 17 tackles, including five solo. The Oklahoma City, Oklahoma native said he will next play for Oklahoma State. He entered the transfer portal earlier this month.
Clay was a 4-star prospect in Arkansas’ 2019 signing class and rated as the No. 20 strongside defensive end prospect in the nation. Rivals rated Clay as the No. 2 overall prospect from Oklahoma in the 2019 recruiting cycle. He reportedly chose Arkansas over the likes of Florida, Georgia, Missouri and Oregon.
“I want to Razorback nation for all of the love that was given to my family and I while I was here. I want to thank every last coach that poured into me at this university. After much prayer and consideration with my family, I will be attending Oklahoma State University.”
