Former Arkansas linebacker Jaheim Thomas is joining Luke Fickell at Wisconsin after 1 season in Fayetteville.

Thomas played for Fickell at Cincinnati from 2020-2022 before transferring to Arkansas. Thomas led the Razorbacks with 90 total tackles and also accounted for 6.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks this season. Thomas has played in at least 12 games or more over the last 2 seasons.

Fickell was credited for leading Cincinnati to its 1st ever College Football Playoff appearance in 2021. The Bearcats ultimately lost to Alabama 27-6 to end the year at 13-1.

Arkansas has also lost KJ Jefferson and Raheim Sanders to the portal this postseason. Jefferson has since committed to UCF and Sanders to South Carolina. The Razorbacks missed out on a bowl game after finishing with 4 wins in 2023.

The Hogs have some reinforcements on the way at linebacker in the 2024 class in the form of 4-star signee Bradley Shaw. Justin Logan and Wyatt Simmons are 3-star signees at the position. Help coming from the portal is through former Georgia linebacker Xavien Sorey.
