Former Arkansas safety Jalen Catalon is on the move again.
The defensive back spent 4 seasons with the Arkansas Razorbacks before transferring to Texas for the 2023 season. Now, Catalon will again enter the transfer portal this time as a graduate transfer.

In his lone season for the Longhorns, Catalon racked up 17 tackles and 1 tackle for loss in 8 games. Through 18 games with the Razorbacks, Catalon collected 159 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 5 interceptions.
Catalon originally committed to the Razorbacks back in 2019. The defensive back was a 4-star prospect, per the 247Sports Composite ranking, out of Mansfield, Texas. The talent has never been a question for Catalon. Instead, injuries have plagued the defensive back’s college career.
Catalon played in 10 games in 2020, but has never reached that mark again. In his last season in Fayetteville, Catalon played in just 1 game before being knocked out for the season.
News of Catalon’s decision comes just one day after the Longhorns were selected for the College Football Playoff. The No. 3 Longhorns are slated to play the No. 2 Washington Huskies.
