The staff shakeup in Fayetteville continues as Arkansas is reportedly in the market for a new tight ends coach.

According to Trey Biddy of 247Sports, Jon Cooper is no longer the tight ends coach in Fayetteville. Cooper was hired by Sam Pittman this time last year from UCF’s coaching staff.

This news marks the third coaching change on Sam Pittman’s staff this offseason as receivers coach Justin Stepp left for the same role at South Carolina (he was replaced by former Colorado State receivers coach Kenny Guion) and linebackers coach Rion Rhoades has moved to an off-the-field role in order to promote analyst Michael Scherer to the linebackers coach position.

Here’s an updated look at the Arkansas assistant coaching staff for 2021:

  • Kendal Briles – Offensive coordinator/Quarterbacks coach
  • Barry Odom – Defensive coordinator
  • Jimmy Smith – Running backs coach
  • Kenny Guion – Receivers coach
  • Brad Davis – Offensive line coach
  • Derrick LeBlanc – Defensive line coach
  • Scott Fountain – Special teams Coordinator
  • Michael Scherer – Linebackers coach
  • Sam Carter – Defensive backs
