Justin Moore is a big Arkansas Razorbacks fan and a country music star. He has clearly enjoyed watching the Hogs’ men’s hoops team so far this year in the NCAA Tournament.

For the third year in a row, the Razorbacks are advancing to the Sweet 16 and will look for a third-straight trip to the Elite Eight on Thursday when they play UConn.

On Tuesday, Moore joined SEC Radio on SiriusXM and discussed the Hogs’ win over No. 1 seed Kansas and a 25-point performance from Devo Davis:

“Man what a Herculean effort by the team, but specifically Devo Davis, man,” Moore said. “I knew he could go get you maybe 20 points in a game. I never expected in a game like that, against an opponent like that, a stage like that, that he could go get you 21 in the second half. I mean, he just would not allow us to lose. He just said, ‘No, it’s not happening,’ and it … that was as great a performance in the NCAA Tournament as I’ve seen. I’m 39 and I have not seen a better performance by 1 individual player in my lifetime.”

You can bet Moore will be watching CBS at 7:15 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday night when the Hogs tip off against the Huskies with a spot in the Elite Eight on the line. Can Davis work some more March magic?
