As previously reported, when searching for the 10th and final assistant on Chad Morris’ coaching staff, Arkansas found its man in former Auburn Director of Player Relations, Kenny Ingram.

Ingram will coach defensive tackles for the Razorbacks in 2019. Ingram joins the coaching staff in Fayetteville after John Scott Jr. left to join the South Carolina coaching staff.

Coming off his second stint working for Gus Malzahn, Ingram has deep ties to the Memphis area, which could prove to be invaluable to Morris’ Razorback program when it comes to recruiting the talent-rich area. A Memphis native, Ingram coached at Melrose High School, the University of Memphis as well as Arkansas State and Cincinnati in addition to his time at Auburn.

With Ingram joining the staff in Fayetteville, Arkansas now has 10 full-time assistants. If you are a believer in the advantages continuity can bring, the Razorbacks’ one change on its full-time staff ties for the fewest in the SEC this offseason.
