Malachi Singleton has been a fast riser as a quarterback prospect in the 2023 recruiting cycle.

During his commitment ceremony on CBS Sports HQ on Monday afternoon, Singleton was compared to former Alabama and Oklahoma QB Jalen Hurts, who now starts for the Philadelphia Eagles.

So, where will Singleton play his college ball? His finalists were Georgia, Miami, UCF and Arkansas. During the ceremony on CBS Sports HQ, Singleton announced he was committing to coach Sam Pittman and the Razorbacks.

Per the 247Sports rankings, Singleton is the No. 18 quarterback in the class of 2023 and the No. 19 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.

The Razorbacks now have 11 players in their 2023 recruiting class. Prior to Singleton’s commitment, that class ranked No. 6 nationally and No. 2 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
