Chad Morris and his program have identified Tennessee as a key target in the 2020 recruiting cycle and those efforts have begun to pay off in a big way for the Razorbacks.

After reaching into the state to land two commitments out of the same Knoxville West High School program over the weekend (from linebacker Drew Francis and defensive end Tyrece Edwards), Arkansas just picked up its third Tennessee pledge of the week from four-star linebacker Martavius French. The Whitehaven High School product is rated as the No. 11 overall prospect from the Volunteer State and the No. 14 inside linebacker in the nation according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

The 6-foot-2, 240-pound French picked Arkansas over some impressive scholarship offers including Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma and Oregon. Following French’s pledge, Arkansas now holds 14 commitments for the 2020 recruiting cycle.
