It’s been more than four years since Knile Davis last suited up for the Razorbacks, but that hasn’t stopped him from getting his degree from Arkansas.
Davis was among the university’s spring graduating this weekend. Former position coach Tim Horton, now the running backs coach at division rival Auburn, tweeted his congratulations.

Davis was part of the UA football team 2009-12, but only played three years (2009, ’10 and ’12). He missed the 2011 season due to an ankle injury suffered in fall camp. His best season came as a sophomore, when he rushed for 1,282 yards on 204 carries. He returned for a final season in 2012, but did not put up the same numbers, carrying the ball 112 times for 377 yards.
Davis spent the first three-plus seasons of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs. During the 2016 season, he was traded to Green Bay as the Packets sought depth at running back. He was cut by Green Bay after two weeks and signed with the New York Jets before eventually returning to Kansas City. This offseason, he signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
