The nation’s No. 1 team has canceled a matchup as Arkansas has just announced the upcoming home game set to be played Tuesday evening against Grambling State won’t be played.

The matchup was set to be played in Fayetteville and was the only matchup of the series. The game will not be rescheduled.

According to Arkansas, the game won’t be played due to a forecast of freezing temperatures.

Following this news, Arkansas won’t take the field again until the start of its three-game series at South Carolina, which begins on Thursday.

South Carolina, which is ranked No. 9 in the nation, announced this week that the school has decided to increase the attendance capacity of Founders Park in anticipation of the Razorbacks. The capacity of the park will go from 1,938 to 3,350 and will remain at that number for the rest of the season.

The Thursday game is set to open at 6 p.m. CT Thursday, April 22, on the SEC Network.
