Arkansas went wild celebrating in the locker room after pulling off road upset of Mississippi State
Arkansas has waited a long time for this one.
If you missed the upset of the weekend, the Razorbacks went on the road and beat Mississippi State 21-14 on Saturday night in Starkville following an outstanding showing from Barry Odom’s defense.
Arkansas intercepted Heisman Trophy hopeful K.J. Costello three times on Saturday, including one Pick 6 score that ended up being the difference in the game.
Razorback linebacker Bumper Pool registered 19 tackles in the game while Feleipe Franks completed 20 of 28 passes for 212 yards and two touchdowns.
The win was the first SEC victory for the Razorback program since Oct. 28, 2017. Arkansas’ previous SEC win came 1,071 days ago.
