Arkansas trolls SEC officiating after forcing turnover against LSU
There was no overturning this one.
If you missed it, the biggest mistake on the field from Fayetteville during the first half of the Arkansas-LSU game wasn’t made by either team.
No, the biggest gaffe of the game came from the SEC officials.
The officials on the field missed a clear forced fumble and recovery in the game, one that was even reviewed by replay, but the final ruling determined that while a fumble did occur, no clear recovery was made.
Karma soon struck, however, as Arkansas forced a turnover that was called accurately on the field and killed LSU’s drive.
Arkansas shared a video of the play and noted while this will go down as the 17th turnover of the season, it should count as the 18th of the season.
