Arkansas appears to be moving fast to fill the unofficial opening on Sam Pittman’s staff.

Earlier Sunday it was reported that Justin Stepp was leaving Arkansas to join Shane Beamer’s South Carolina coaching staff. It appears Arkansas may have already found Stepp’s replacement. Neither party has made an official announcement on a parting or hiring regarding Stepp.

Trey Biddy of HawgSports.com is reporting that Colorado State wide receivers coach Kenny Guiton is expected to take over the wide receivers coach position on the Razorback staff. Biddy acknowledges that Guiton’s name was first shared on Twitter by @pinto479.

A former Ohio State Buckeye, Guiton first got into coaching in 2016 as a graduate assistant on Tom Herman’s Houston staff. He was Houston’s wide receivers coach under Major Applewhite for 2017 and ’18. Guiton then coached wide receivers at Louisiana Tech for 2019 before heading to CSU.
