Southern Cal quarterback transfer Ricky Town is one of the hottest commodities on the recruiting trail.

Town, the former elite four-star signal caller, has been reported to be looking at two SEC programs, Arkansas and Florida.

ESPN Radio’s Bo Mattingly, citing sources, reported via Twitter that Town is on Arkansas’ campus and will be at practice tonight.

Town signed with USC and enrolled this past January, but he decided to transfer schools prior to the start of his freshman season. Wherever he transfers, he’ll have to sit out the 2015 season due to the NCAA’s transfer rule.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound California native was ranked as the country’s No. 6 overall pro-style quarterback and the country’s No. 79 overall player, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Town would be a nice fit in Arkansas’ pro-style offense.
