Sam Pittman addresses KJ Jefferson’s status, speaks on a tough loss to Alabama

Sam Pittman addressed the media following Arkansas’ 49-26 loss to No. 2 Alabama.

He noted Arkansas’ 3rd down struggles, KJ Jefferson and named a clear No. 2 quarterback moving forward. Arkansas is now 3-2 heading into a bounce-back game against Mississippi State.

Most importantly, Pittman noted why Jefferson did not return late in the game:

Pittman also said he “didn’t know” where Jefferson was at as far as any specifics.

He wasn’t done harping on the quarterbacks either. He noted how Arkansas needs to be less one-dimensional and needs more production from the passing game moving forward if they are to beta teams such as Alabama.

Pittman also named a No. 2 quarterback moving forward.
