Sam Pittman shares his thoughts on Texas and Oklahoma joining the SEC
What does Sam Pittman think of Texas and Oklahoma joining the Southeastern Conference?
The leader of the Razorback program is all for it, and he hopes he’s still going a good enough job that Arkansas will still have him run its football team.
That was the message delivered on Thursday as the Head Hog was asked to comment on the news that the Longhorns and the Sooners will be joining the SEC:
Pittman: If Texas & OU is better for the league, I’m all for it. If I’m still the coach at Arkansas in 2025 then I’m definitely all for that too.

The definitive timeline for Texas and Oklahoma to join the SEC remains unclear at this time, but both schools are currently contractually obligated to stay in the Big 12 until July of 2025.
