Sam Pittman describes the feeling of picking up his first win as a head coach
The Arkansas Razorbacks picked up their first SEC win after an 0-20 streak on Saturday, upsetting Mississippi State in Starkville, 21-14.
It was Sam Pittman’s first win as an FBS head coach, and he was grateful for the chance to experience that feeling.
On Wednesday’s “Marty & McGee” on the SEC Network, Pittman described what it was like when the realization of his team’s victory set in:
"It was as high of a feeling that I’ve ever had in coaching.”

“The feeling that you have when you accomplish something together like that is incredible,” he said. “To be honest with you, it was as high of a feeling that I’ve ever had in coaching.”
How many more victories will Pittman and the Hogs pile up this year? They’ll have another chance against a tough Auburn team this weekend.
