This is a very difficult time for the country on so many levels.

For Sam Pittman and Arkansas specifically, the Hogs should be in spring practice currently installing their system. Pittman hasn’t even gotten the chance to get to know his team’s strengths yet, and spring practice is still completely up in the air. SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey hasn’t completely ruled it out.

In the meantime, however, Pittman and Arkansas sent out a PSA Wednesday evening urging Arkansas residents to put in the work now (stay home, stay safe and follow guidelines) in order to reunite in Razorback Stadium this fall.

“Hey Razorback fans, Sam Pittman head football coach,” he said. “Can’t wait to get together with you in Razorback Stadium, but now we have to come together to help save lives.

“Just a few reminders — keep gathers to less than 10 people, wash your hands regularly, follow the directives of the governor and of the CDC and other officials. By putting in work now, we’ll be one step closer to getting back together in Razorback Stadium to call those Hogs.”

Pittman joins a growing number of college coaches urging fans to stay home and stay healthy.
