Arkansas is off to a 3-0 start to the season and now ranked 16th in the AP poll, making the Razorbacks one of the surprise teams in the country.

Just how good is Sam Pittman’s team?

That answer is probably still to be determined, but with Arkansas’ schedule, everyone will find out.

The Razorbacks have already defeated Texas, which was ranked 15th at the time, and this week they play No. 7 Texas A&M.

And it doesn’t get much easier from there for Pittman’s team, as games against No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Georgia, No. 13 Ole Miss, and No. 23 Auburn still loom in the weeks ahead.

It’s a daunting schedule to say the least, but Pittman was able find some humor in the challenge, joking with ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg on Monday that he’ll be qualified to be on the College Football Playoff selection committee when it’s all said and done.

Said Pittman: “We play [Nos.] 1, 2, 6, 13, 22, already played [No.] 15. I’d imagine at the end of the year, they can put me on the selection committee. Hell, I’m the one who knows who the best teams in the country are.”

Arkansas’ game with the Aggies this Saturday will be played in Arlington, Texas, and will kick off at 3:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
