What a special night for Sam Pittman and the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Playing on the road as an 18-point underdog at Mississippi State, which beat a top 10-ranked LSU team last weekend, the Razorbacks outplayed the Bulldogs in nearly every aspect of the game, coming away with a 21-14 win against Mike Leach’s team.

The win was the first SEC victory for the Razorbacks since Oct. 28 of 2017.

Barry Odom’s defense played their hearts out, forcing three K.J. Costello interceptions, including a Pick 6 touchdown, and held on as the team’s offense struggled for much of the fourth quarter.

Following his first win as a head coach, Pittman gave an epic postgame speech and was given the game ball in the locker room.
