Sam Pittman reveals what it was like to meet Jerry Jones for the first time
This great start for the Arkansas Razorbacks has gotten Sam Pittman some recognition.
He went on ESPN to talk about how the year has gone so far, and one famous alumni who reached out to him following Arkansas’ win over Texas A&M.
Arkansas alum Jerry Jones spoke to Pittman after the Texas A&M game, appreciating all he’s done for Arkansas so far.
Pittman described what it was like talking to the Cowboys’ owner after the game:

“It was awesome,” said Pittman. “He was very emotional after the game down in his stadium in Dallas after we beat Texas A&M. The first time I met him was right before the Texas game, and I was in awe. He knew my name and who I was, and I thought that was really, really cool. Then I had a chance to share a very special moment at the Texas A&M win. He was so excited that we got that done.”
No. 8 Arkansas (4-0) moves on to No. 2 Georgia, also 4-0, at 12 p.m. ET on ESPN at Sanford Stadium.
