Sam Pittman knows Arkansas will see a different Matt Corral this year compared to the Ole Miss quarterback the Razorbacks saw last year when they intercepted him 6 times.
Pittman shared at his Monday press conference that he went back and watched Corral’s interview following the game in Fayetteville last year and expects Corral to be motivated. Corral had 14 interceptions overall last season, but 5 others came in a game against LSU.
“We’re gonna have to set the edge on him. He can run up the middle so we’re gonna have to push the pocket and set the edge so there’s nowhere to go.” #Razorbacks head Coach Pittman says on containing Ole Miss QB Matt Corral #WPS

It’s not, however, as simple as copying the blueprint from last season. Pittman said there must be “wrinkles on defense” to keep Corral guessing. He said Arkansas can’t do the exact same thing it did last year.
