Sam Pittman says he's 'pleased' with what Arkansas has accomplished in spring practice
Arkansas’ Red and White game is set for April 15, a chance to give fans a sneak peak at what the Razorbacks have been working on at spring practices. On Tuesday, head coach Sam Pittman met with media and seemed pleased with the progress both coaches and student athletes have made in 12 practices.
Pittman specifically shouted out the new coaches on his staff, saying “I think, to a man, we’ve really gotten better.”
A major point of emphasis for Pittman was growth from a ho-hum 7-6 season. Hear his comments on that below:

This is an important season for the Razorbacks and especially for Pittman, who is entering Year 4 and has still yet to eclipse 10 games in a season. And while Arkansas did withstand some injury issues last year, the Razorbacks took a bit of a step back from 2021’s 9-4 campaign. The good news? KJ Jefferson and Raheim Sanders will be back leading an offense that will have some high expectations entering the 2023-24 season.
Pittman was also asked how the Razorbacks plan to attack Saturday. His answer? Arkansas is going to play their ball. They’re only interested in getting better.
“We’re going to scrimmage and play our ball. We’re not interested in hiding anything. We’re just trying to get better.”
