Sam Pittman gave a positive update on John Morgan after a scary injury on Saturday against Texas A&M.

Morgan had to go to the hospital on Saturday after collapsing with a neck injury against the Aggies.

Luckily, the injury doesn’t appear to be too serious, as Pittman said in his press conference Monday that Morgan is in great spirits and even has the chance to play on Saturday against Ole Miss.

Morgan is a key part of Arkansas’ defense, with 5 tackles and 2 sacks on the season. Getting him back on Saturday would be crucial.

Pittman also updated the status of cornerback Dwight McGlothern after he suffered a concussion on Saturday. Pittman said that he is unsure whether or not McGlothern will be ready to go on Saturday. McGlothern has 9 tackles, 2 interceptions and a forced fumble so far this season.

After a poor performance from the run game on Saturday, Pittman might be looking to change things up on the offensive front. The Razorbacks had just 42 rushing yards and KJ Jefferson was sacked 7 times.

“We’re going to look at some different scenarios up front,” Pittman said Monday. “We may shake up the offensive line a little bit.”

Arkansas will need some fixes if they want a chance at an upset against Ole Miss on Saturday.
