Sam Pittman sticks to his word, displays The Boot right in the middle of team lobby
Sam Pittman has very quickly endeared himself to Arkansas fans. Under Pittman, the Razorbacks fight. Under Pittman, they opened this season 4-0, climbing higher in the AP poll than they had in a decade. Under Pittman, they win The Boot.
Arkansas had lost 5 straight games in the series with LSU. A thrilling, 16-13 overtime win Saturday night snapped that streak.

The Boot, the trophy the two schools play for, is back in Fayetteville. Pittman said Saturday evening, via KATV’s Kyle Deckelbaum, that “we’re going to put the boot where we put the Southwest Classic (trophy)—on the floor, right there in the lobby.” And it appears that’s exactly what they’ve done.
.@CoachSamPittman is a man of his word. We have a football program our whole damn state is proud of and we put trophies in the middle of the floor in the lobby when we win them! pic.twitter.com/cpiO8IDREE

The win over LSU was Arkansas’ 3rd straight. The Hogs are back to 3-3 in SEC play and currently sit at 7-3 on the season. Alabama is next, with a trip to Tuscaloosa scheduled for Nov. 20. That game will kick at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
