Sam Pittman and the Arkansas Razorbacks rolled over Georgia Southern 45-10 thanks to a career-high 366 yards and 3 touchdowns from KJ Jefferson.

The big play was a 91-yard strike from Jefferson to Treylon Burks. The Razorbacks had a nice bounce back game after they beat Texas last week and get set for SEC play coming up.

After the game, coach Sam Pittman met with the media:

“Every time he misses a throw, it’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, in my mind,'” Pittman said of Jefferson. “But then he throws one when we go 91, he throws one to Warren Thompson for 60 (yards) for a touchdown, I’m like, ‘Well, that’s what he’s supposed to do.’ I think Dan Marino missed a pass or 2, so my mind’s got to work a little bit different. He’s our quarterback and done a really nice job. … He’s a competitor and he still has that option to run and he’s got some pretty good wideouts to throw the ball to.”

About his halftime interview, Pittman said he was frustrated at halftime of the Rice game, but he was disappointed on Saturday against Georgia Southern.
