Arkansas is dealing with injuries to injuries to three key players, Rakeem Boyd, Treylon Burks and Montaric Brown ahead of the game Saturday at Auburn.

Boyd exceeded last week’s rushing total (21 yards) in the first half of the win over Mississippi State. But he suffered an injury and was carted off the field in the second quarter after an apparent foot injury. Burks suffered a knee injury, which also happened in the first half, and Brown is dealing with an apparent upper-body injury.

“They’re fine, I anticipate that at least two or three being able to play,” Pittman said on Wednesday on the SEC coaches media teleconference. “We hope all three play well.”

The Razorbacks snapped their 20-game SEC losing streak, but it wasn’t without some damage.

Boyd was seen wearing a protective boot on Saturday and Burks recently shared on Instagram that he was getting an MRI on his knee.

Brown, a top defender, suffered an injury while he made a tackle for a loss in the first half and did not return. He did not have pads on while he watched from the sideline later in the game.

The teams will meet at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday on the SEC Network.
