SEC Network host Dari Nowkhah served as the guest speaker at the Northwest Arkansas Touchdown Club in Fayetteville Wednesday, according to Hawgs247.com.

Nowkhah discussed numerous SEC-related topics, including the Razorbacks and his unique relationship with head coach Bret Bielema. Apparently, the host picked Arkansas to lose to LSU during Arkansas’ schedule predictor segment on “SEC Now,” which led to the coach responding immediately via text.

“I get a text from your coach, right after it: ‘You picked LSU to beat us?’ and he had one of those little emojis with the laughing so hard he’s crying,” Nowkhah said. “He says, ‘Brother, quit sniffing glue.'”

Nowkhah also took a jab at former coach Bobby Petrino, who was forced out of his job in 2012 following a motorcycle crash and infidelity scandal.

“This is a town, much like Tulsa where I’m from, that the harder you work and the more honest you are, the more they love you,” Nowkhah said. “You’re not going to have that any more than you have it with Bret Bielema.

“You might have won a few more games with that other guy that like motorcycles, but I tell you what, if you want a character guy… You upgraded.”

Nowkhah also previewed Arkansas’ upcoming game at TCU this weekend. He said he’s looking forward to the matchup, which is expected to be one of this week’s more entertaining SEC matchups.

“You have the most intriguing game and the biggest opportunity, maybe nationally, to go and get a big win on the road against a really good team,” Nowkhah told the fans in attendance. “I know South Dakota State probably just score again on TCU, but that is still a really good football team that you guys are playing.”
