T.Q. Jackson arrived in Fayetteville with high expectations as the four-star prospect from Jefferson High School in Jefferson, Texas was one of the many touted prospects signed by Chad Morris in the 2019 recruiting cycle.

After only one season on campus, however, and one career catch for two yards, Jackson decided to move on from the Razorbacks this offseason.

Until now, we didn’t know where Jackson would wind up but the former four-star recruit has decided to return to his home state and announced his decision to play for SMU in 2020. Jackson announced the news on Wednesday.

Unless granted a waiver to play immediately, Jackson will be forced to sit out the 2020 season due to the NCAA’s transfer rules.
