Taurean Carter, veteran Arkansas DL, announces his plans for the 2024 season
Taurean Carter hopped in the transfer portal as a graduate transfer on Monday as it opened.
Carter played in 29 games for Arkansas after he came to Fayetteville in 2019. He accounted for 60 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks during that time.
Arkansas will always have a place in Carter’s heart as he heads for his next chapter.

It hasn’t been the easiest road for Carter. He suffered a season-ending knee injury during spring practice last season. Fortunately, he recovered and made an impact on the defensive line in 2023.
Arkansas missed out on a bowl game for the 2nd time in Sam Pittman’s tenure this year after a 5-7 finish this season.
