To say 2019 has been brutal for the Arkansas Razorbacks is a vast understatement. At 2-6 overall and 0-5 in SEC play, there does not appear to be a light at the end of the tunnel for Arkansas fans when it comes to Chad Morris’ second season.

Despite the record, there have been a couple of bright spots. Running back Rakeem Boyd has been one, already having hit the 700-yard mark, and with five touchdowns on the season. Another bright spot for the Razorbacks has been senior tight end, Cheyenne O’Grady.

O’Grady caught his third touchdown pass of the season in the loss to Alabama on Saturday, and it moved him to the top spot in the Arkansas record book, with more touchdowns than any other tight end to play in Fayetteville.

O’Grady has 12 touchdowns on his career, with four games remaining. Arkansas has had good players at the tight end spot in recent years, most recently with current Los Angeles Charger Hunter Henry. Henry had nine touchdowns in his Arkansas career.

The Razorbacks’ next opportunity to win a conference game will be when they play host to Mississippi State on November 2.

A bowl game may be out of the question for Arkansas, but at least O’Grady can have a few more chances to separate his lead in the record book.
