Trevon Brazile has announced his transfer destination, and the now former Mizzou player plans to continue his career in the SEC.

Brazile will join the Arkansas program, he shared on social media.

Brazile was one of a handful of players to enter the transfer portal from Missouri after he appeared in 25 games this past season and averaged 6.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. He scored a season-high 15 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in Missouri’s season finale at the SEC Tournament against LSU.

Brazile drew interest from the likes of Kentucky, Illinois, Oklahoma and others, Hawg Sports reported.

Brazile entered the portal soon after former Missouri head coach Cuonzo Martin was fired. Brazile also shot 53.4 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from 3-point range, 1.9 blocks in 21.6 minutes per game over 23 starts for the Tigers as a true freshman.

Coming out of high school, Brazile was a 3-star prospect, ranked just outside of the 247Sports Top 150.

In 2 games against Arkansas, Brazile averaged 5.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game.

Brazile’s addition is the latest in a talent windfall for the Razorbacks.

Brazile becomes the latest addition to a program that has the No. 2 incoming freshman class in the country including a trio of 5-stars in McDonald’s All-Americans in No. 6 ranked guard Nick Smith Jr.(North Little Rock, Ark.), No. 14 overall point guard Anthony Black (Duncanville, Texas) and No. 18 ranked Jordan Walsh (Cedar Hill, Texas).
