Trevon Brazile, Arkansas receive grim news about forward's knee injury
Trevon Brazile suffered a serious knee injury Tuesday night in Arkansas’ 65-58 victory over UNC-Greensboro.
The Razorbacks announced Wednesday that Brazile suffered a torn ACL and he will have surgery later this month, according to a release, per Whole Hog Sports. The injury happened when the 6-10 forward’s right leg bent awkwardly and he immediately collapsed to the floor.
Arkansas recruiting coordinator Ronnie Brewer and strength and conditioning coach Dave Richardson helped Brazile off the floor.
Not only is Brazile a key player for the Razorbacks, he delivered a possible Dunk of the Year candidate earlier this season.
