The future of Arkansas football has been on display this offseason.

It was Trey Knox turning heads this spring and now it’s Treylon Burks getting specific shoutouts from his head coach in press conferences.

If you missed it, after being asked about the most impressive freshmen he’s seen on the practice field so far, Chad Morris immediately went to Burks and the impressive catch he made at practice.

“I saw Treylon Burks make a one-handed catch out here today that I don’t know if I’ve seen a kid make. It was unbelievable,” Morris said. “He’s just powerful, he’s very much attention to detail. He wants to do everything perfect.”

The No. 1 prospect from the state of Arkansas in the 2019 recruiting cycle, Burks turned down the likes of Clemson and LSU to play for his in-state school. If he continues to make plays like the one below, don’t be surprised to see Burks take the field as a starter for the season opener against Portland State.
