A pair of Arkansas Razorbacks earned SEC weekly honors this week following the Hogs’ 17-0 win over then-No. 17 on Saturday night.

Senior linebacker Martrell Spaight got the nod as SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week, while sophomore offensive tackle Dan Skipper earned SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week, the league announced Monday.

Spaight — a native of North Little Rock, Ark. — recorded 10 tackles, one sack, one tackle for loss and forced a fumble in Saturday night’s win. Spaight stripped LSU quarterback Anthony Jennings midway through the fourth quarter to preserve the win for the Razorbacks.

Skipper led an offensive line that allowed just one sack on the evening. He played 62 snaps, and led all offensive linemen with seven knockdowns.

The accolades mark the first time either Spaight or Skipper have earned All-SEC honors.
