Arkansas continues to gain momentum on the recruiting trail as the Razorbacks have just picked up commitment No. 15 of the current recruiting cycle. That number ties Arkansas for the most commitments in the SEC for this recruiting cycle.

The newest commitment to Sam Pittman’s program comes from Georgia native Tyrus “Megatron” Washington, who is rated as a three-star tight end. No doubt he’s an elite high school player given the fact they call the newest Razorback “Megatron” down in Leesburg.

Washington announced his commitment on Wednesday.

A product of Lee County High School, the 6-foot-4, 230-pound Washington is currently rated as the nation’s No. 28 tight end prospect and a top 600 overall recruiting in the country for the 2022 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

With his addition to the class, Arkansas jumps Missouri in the recruiting rankings as the Razorbacks have the No. 16 class in the country.
