After leaving Fayetteville, defensive lineman Trey Flowers has now reached the mountaintop of the football universe as a member of the New England Patriots Super Bowl championship team.

When the clock hit zero Sunday night in Houston, and the confetti started raining, Flowers took in the victory with his family (as seen in the video above).

Flowers starred at Arkansas from 2011-14 and was a critical member of the Razorbacks 2014 defense that surrendered only 19.2 points per game. That was the defense that shutout LSU and Ole Miss, both ranked opponents at the time, in back-to-back weeks in November. During his time in Fayetteville, Flowers racked up 190 tackles, 47.5 tackles-for-loss and 18 sacks.

Flowers was a fourth-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft by the Patriots. Flowers helped New England this season by sacking opposing quarterbacks seven times in the regular season but saved his finest performance for last. Flowers tied for the lead in tackles for the Patriots in the Super Bowl with six and had 2.5 sacks of Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan. Flowers also led the team in quarterback hits with five and tackles-for-loss with 2.5 in the game.
