Arkansas QB commit Chandler Morris may be coach Chad Morris’s son, but there’s no nepotism involved in getting him a scholarship to play for the Razorbacks.

The kid can actually play, as he proved for his Highland Park (Dallas) squad on Friday night in the first game of his senior season.

As you can see below, he threw for 474 yards, ran for 180 more and accounted for 9 total touchdowns:

That’s quite a game for the young quarterback, who continues to put up amazing numbers. He’s a 4-star prospect in the 247Sports composite, which has him listed as the No. 11 dual-threat quarterback in the 2020 class and the No. 49 overall recruit from the state of Texas.

What does the future hold for Morris? Probably a lot more touchdowns if Week 1 was any indication.
