Dorian Gerald is a massive addition to Arkansas’ defensive signing class.

Gerald had one of the SEC’s wildest recruitments. He originally committed to Tennessee and Butch Jones, but when Jones was fired, he looked another direction. Gerald looked heavy at Florida and Texas A&M before signing with Arkansas, and he explained why Friday night. Gerald said the recruiting process was all about relationships, specifically the one he made with DC John Chavis.

The 6-foot-3, 260-pound Gerald ranks as the No. 1 SDE and the No. 27 overall JUCO prospect in the nation, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
